Conversion of the Hauder family
Another great project that we would like to present to you is the stable reconstruction of the Hauder family from Herzogsdorf. They were looking for a feeding system for 120 goats, which should both reduce work and increase animal welfare.
Here too, after a short research, the decision was made in favour of a feedstar Basic, which was combined with a stationary feed mixer.
The feedstar Basic from the Hauder family has a length of 30 metres and a width of 0.8 metres. The feed on the feed belt can be reached from both sides by the goats.
An important aspect was the longevity and the maintenance requirements of the system. Our extremely stable feed belt is made of food-safe and glass fibre reinforced PVC and is resistant to feed acids.
In addition to the many work steps that are no longer necessary with our system, the Hauder family particularly appreciates the clean and hygienic feed area, as our feedstar always transports the remaining feed completely out of the barn. Feedstar was the perfect solution for the 120 goats, and the Hauder family can now use the time saved for other tasks.
